The Great Depression of the 1930’s was a challenging time to start a business. It was in that environment that Sanco began as a small manufacturer of cleaning products in the basement of the Hotel Lanier in downtown Macon, Georgia. Founded with one simple mission, to keep things clean, Sanco has been providing products and services that do just that ever since.

Over the decades our business has grown and evolved, from cleaning and pest control chemicals in the 1930’s and 1940’s, to pioneering swimming pool chemicals and service in the 1950’s, to commercial janitorial services in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Today Sanco continues to manufacture several unique and popular products…Rainbow Laundry Detergent, Lanolized Powdered Handsoap, and Bulldog Concrete Cleaner, to name a few…as well as distribute many other national brands. Along the way Sanco’s relationships with premier cleaning equipment manufacturers have provided our customers with the automation and latest technology available to clean, maintain, and beautify floors of all types, restrooms, and other facility surfaces.
